Artist's Statement

On March 4, 2025, Representative Al Green stood up in the midst of trump's State of the Union address to speak out against the many wrongs already wrought by the present administration. For his actions, he was removed from the House chamber and later censured by some of his colleagues.

Rep. Green's refusal to accept trump & musk's illegitimate actions is one of the sole signs of meaningful pushback we have seen from Democratic party leadership, and should be met with unwavering support from anyone who cares about the future of our country rather than censure.
